Okay, so what do I say about this bed? The Mattress cradles you and supports you at the same time, I never felt like anything was poking me or felt like I was sinking in my bottom area like with foam mattresses. I never felt like I was laying in a crater. I could feel the bed adjusting while finding my perfect number, but not in a way that was uncomfortable. It maneuvers very well when adjusting. It had a thick plush top which is great. I feel like without the added pillow top it would just feel like you were sleeping on an air mattress and falling into each other. Unlike with air mattresses each side of the mattress has its own support system so your partner can find their perfect sleep number as well.
If you are in doubt go to a sleep number store near you. It is very informative.
